What data we collect and why
We collect personal data when you voluntarily submit our contact form or apply for a role through our Careers page.
Contact form
- First and last name - to address you personally
- Work email address - to respond to your enquiry
- Company name - to understand your operational context
- Your role - to tailor the conversation to your responsibilities
- Supply chain challenge (optional) - to prepare a relevant demo
Careers page (job applications)
- Full name - to identify you as an applicant
- Email address - to contact you about your application
- Resume/CV - to evaluate your application
- Additional notes (optional) - any extra context you choose to share
Beyond these forms, we collect limited technical data as a normal part of operating a website. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver the Site securely and efficiently. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics (GA4) collects anonymised usage data to help us understand site traffic (see "Cookies" below). The only cookies set on this Site are from Google Analytics (with your consent) and YouTube video embeds, which use privacy-enhanced mode and only activate if you choose to play a video.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing your personal data is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our legitimate interest is to respond to your enquiry about our services. You can object to this processing at any time by contacting privacy@knosc.com.
How we use your data
We use your contact form submission to:
- Send you a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your enquiry
- Contact you to schedule and prepare a product demonstration
- Follow up on your enquiry if we do not hear back
We will not add you to marketing lists, share your data with third-party marketers, or use your data for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry without your explicit consent.
Third-party processors
The following third-party services process data on our behalf, each limited to the purpose described below:
Our Site is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare's global network, which also provides security protections such as DDoS mitigation. As part of routing and securing requests to the Site, Cloudflare processes standard technical data, including your IP address and browser information. This processing is necessary to operate the Site and is not used for advertising.
Privacy policy →Used to understand how visitors use the site, including pages visited, session duration, and general traffic patterns. Analytics data is anonymised (IP anonymisation enabled) and never used to identify individual visitors or for advertising. GA4 is only loaded after you explicitly accept cookies. You can opt out at any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.

Privacy policy →Used to notify our team of new contact form submissions and job applications submitted through our Careers page. For contact form submissions, your name, company, email, and role are included. For job applications, your name, email, and resume are included. Slack data is not retained beyond our internal workspace retention settings.
Privacy policy →All of these processors are based in the United States. If you are in the EEA or UK, transfers to these processors are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as per their respective data processing agreements.
Data retention
We retain data submitted through the contact form or Careers page for up to 24 months from the date of submission. If you request deletion before that period, we will delete your data from our systems and ask our processors (Resend, Slack) to do the same within 30 days. If a business relationship or hiring process develops from your submission, we may retain relevant correspondence for longer in accordance with our contractual obligations.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access - request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction - request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion - request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability - request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Restriction - request that we restrict processing while a dispute is resolved
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@knosc.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information to third parties. To exercise your rights under the CCPA, contact privacy@knosc.com.
Cookies
We ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics (GA4) sets the following cookies to measure site usage:

If you decline cookies, no tracking cookies are set and Google Analytics does not load. You can change your preference at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
We also embed videos from YouTube using privacy-enhanced mode (`youtube-nocookie.com`). YouTube does not set cookies unless you actively choose to play a video.
Security
Data submitted via our contact form is transmitted over TLS-encrypted HTTPS. We do not store your contact form data in a database on our servers. It is routed directly to our email and notification systems. We conduct periodic reviews of our data handling practices.
Children
This site is intended for business professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have received data from a minor, contact privacy@knosc.com and we will delete it promptly.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Where applicable, we comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes, we will note them here with a brief description. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
